Much of the late1990s were a dry time for me artwise. I struggled with a lot of work but could not resolve most of them. In 1999 I finished a few works that were, stylistically, a fallback to previous styles. One of these was the painted assemblage "Ode to Fallen Technology." |

| A very productive time doing oil and acrylic painting, collage, and painted assemblage. In the early 80s I finished graduate school and taught college, I was active in showing my work. Unfortunately, in some frenzy of closet cleaning I threw out my sets of slides of my 80s' and 70s' work. What is shown here is just a very small part of the hundreds of works I did in these decades. |

This page is divided into pre-college and during-college. The pre-college ones are pretty clunky but I will still fess up to them. Again, I've lost most of the slides of the works I did in college, At this time I was painting strictly in oils. |
